What is Tasting Dating?
Tasting menus are the latest type of eating experience. With a multitude of small portion courses on offer, diners can be more daring with their palate. So, why not dare to share each course with a date?
With our Tasting Dating events you share each exquisite course with a different dinner date.
Expect a night of taste bud tickling decadence. You'll enjoy a sparkling cocktail upon arrival as you are introduced to other guests. Then it’s on to the dating in the dining room where you’ll indulge in a course of food or wine or combination of both with each date. Specially selected wines or cocktails are matched with the food and it's all topped of with a scrumptiously decadent dessert - the perfect finale to a mouth-watering meal.
We’ve increased the durations of the dates to 12 minutes to give you ample time to enjoy both the food and company. Every time the gong sounds, the men will move on to the next table, where both the next course and their next dining companion await them.

Mix and mingle with fabulous wines and irresistible food at Toronto’s first Tasting Dating event. Acclaimed executive chef Joe Ramos is classically trained and specializes in French-Asian fusion cuisine that is elegant yet innovative. He produces dishes that offer his guests a simplified culinary experience that tantalizes and amuses the senses and will delight even the most discerning food connoisseurs.

Sparkling cocktail upon arrival
Course 1 Goat cheese mousse, black olive tapanade, brioche crostini
Course 2 Stalk heirloom tomato, buffalo mazza, saccharine glaze.
Course 3 Fresh green salad topped with grilled seafood.
Course 4 Lychee sorbet
Course 5 Seared 'lacquered' salmon, broccoli puree
Course 6 Lamb chop, cucumber slaw, lemongrass and mint syrup
Course 7 Tropical parfait
Course 8 Chocolate tart with raspberry coulis
In addition to these delicious courses, a sparkling cocktail will be served upon arrival, 2 wines will be paired with the courses and a delicious dessert liqueur will finish off the evening.
