Toronto, Ontario (January 24, 2007) - FastLife is declaring war on cherubs this Valentine’s Day with their anti-schmaltz V Day party. Toronto’s least romantic Valentine’s Party will take place on February 14th, creating single envy right across the country.
Hundreds of single Torontonians will celebrate Hallmark’s tackiest holiday in style, getting to know other sassy soloists in a distinctly heart-free environment.
The parties will kick off at 6pm, with a free drink for all guests who arrive before 7pm. Complimentary gourmet hors d’oeuvres will be available to stave off V Day hunger that not even a heart-shaped box of chocolates can cure. FastLife will turn up the heat with saucy mix and mingle games and signature text message dares. Guests who dare to spin the bottle will win great prizes, including numerous gift vouchers to VISAGE Clinic.
On a day traditionally dedicated to happy couples, singles are usually expected to fade in to the background. This V Day party is one of the few places in which single men and women can feel single and fabulous on Valentine’s Day. Contrary to the common view, there are better ways for singles to spend Valentine’s Day than bemoaning the lack of eligible men/women.
“Bridget Jones beware – singles will no longer spend Valentines Day hiding at home with a bottle of wine and a stack of sappy movies. Tickets can be pre-purchased for $20 or at the door for $30. The ticket price includes a drink upon arrival, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, mix and mingle games and great prizes.
