The Concept
A FastLife speed dating event is like a cocktail party in a slick bar where you meet 10 single guys or girls in your preferred age group. You enjoy gourmet hors d'oeuvres and sip on complimentary drinks while mingling with specially selected people in your preferred age group. You spend 8 minutes chatting with each of your dates - just enough time to figure out who you’d like to see again. The following day you are sent the contact details of the people that liked you too, you take it from there.
Unlike a blind date, there’s no pressure and no expectations - we do all the hard work. All you have to do is sit back and have a great time!
How It Works
Our team of contemporary cupids hook up 20 singles, an equal number of men and women, in a private area of a chic, centrally located bar. A FastLife host is there to ensure the drinks are flowing and the dates are rolling. You have 8 minutes with each date… Plenty of time for sparks to fly!
Unlike other speed dating services, FastLife speed dating events are by invitation only - we don't publish a schedule of events. This lets us control who goes to which event - we're able to tailor the guest list ensuring that the chemistry is a reality. For this reason over 90% of our guests match with at least one other person, by far the highest success rate in the world.
Getting Started
The first step is to complete our online registration form where you tell us a bit about who you are and who you’d like to meet.
During the registration process you tell us how old you are. You also tell us the age range of the people you'd like to meet. This allows us to invite you to events that are right for you.
Once you've registered you can see the details of any upcoming events that match your preferences. There will usually be at least one event that is right for you in the larger cities. If no events are listed you will be emailed invitations to suitable events, usually within a week or two.
Invitations
Our unique software creates events specifically tailored to your preferences. You’ll be emailed invitations to attend events created with you in mind. You accept your invitation by clicking on a link in the invitation email.
You can also view a full list of all upcoming events that match your preferences by visiting your personal "My Details" page and clicking on "Upcoming Events". You’ll be directed to your "My Details" page as soon as you’ve registered or logged in (existing members).
If you aren't able to receive personal emails at work, and you haven't got access to the Internet at home, then please call our friendly customer service team on 1 800 406 0832. They'll be able to let you know about any invitations you've been sent.
At The Event
All you need to do is rock up at the venue at the right time! You'll see signs pointing you to the private area where the event will take place. You'll be greeted by your host who will make sure you've got a drink and explain how the evening will work.
Before the event is under way you will be given a personal match card where you write down the names of your dates and put either a yes or no next to each name. There is no limit to the number of "yes’s" you choose and your choices are just between you and FastLife. If you have put a "yes" to someone who has also put a "yes" to you, that's a match! You will receive an email the next day giving you the names and contact details of the people you matched with. You take it from there!
Cost
Becoming a FastLife member is absolutely free! You pay only for the events you choose to attend. You may even be eligible for a discount of up to 50% if we need members with your profile to make up the numbers at upcoming events.

The normal cost to attend a speed dating event is $79.95 which includes complimentary drinks throughout the event and scrumptious hors d'oeuvres, not to mention your 10 dates!
