Overview

Corporate Wine Tasting kicks off with an entertaining and interactive introductory lesson on wine appreciation by our qualified wine coach. These courses are designed to teach the fundamentals of wine appreciation - so at the end of the activity participants will be able to talk aromas, tastes and textures like a true wine connoisseur.
A wine tasting corporate social event offers a sophisticated means by which to reward staff or entertain your valued clients, through unlocking the mystery of wine with a tailored wine education course. A wine tasting event provides the perfect forum for team members to build relationships through bonding in a relaxed setting. And there’s no better way to leave a lasting impression on valued clients through good food and wine.

Package costs and inclusions
Corporate Wine Tasting packages cost as little as $50 per person. This includes:
- Qualified wine educator delivering wine commentary (Informal Networking) or appreciation course (One Night Stand Course).
- 6-8 different quality wines - generally 3 white varieties, 3 red varieties, possibly a sparkling wine and a fortified wine (the wines are flexible – the event can focus on white wine or red wine).
- 1 hour phone consultation with client to tailor the event to client requirements. For the majority of events this is adequate.
- Gourmet cheese and crackers.
- Venue hire at preferred venues.
Wine booklet for participants to take home (at One Night Stand event)
We also offer other services at an additional cost:
- Wine game and prize (additional $5/head).
Invitations to the event – the cost is $100/hour design, and $50/hour for procuring supplies, printing, compiling + delivery cost (courier or Express post).
Objectives
Corporate wine tasting events are a simple and cost effective solution for corporate entertainment and team bonding. They focus on:
- Building team rapport
- Improving group communication

Event format
There are two different option available for wine tasting social events, depending on the client’s objectives, size of the group and budget. Depending on the client’s objective, events can be either be an informal mix and mingle standing format with basic level wine education, or a more sophisticated sit down style with more indepth wine education.
Option 1 - Informal Networking
Allow your clients or staff to mingle and get to know each other in an informal and relaxed environment that incorporates a range of wine across numerous varieties with commentary provided on request. This commentary can include a general intro to wine, how to taste wine, how to match wine to food, and commentary on each of the wines being tasted. The length of the commentary depends on the objectives of the client.
Minimum number: 30 people (if group size is smaller than 30 people, 30 people will be charged)
Format: Informal stand up mix and mingle style. Table and chairs can also be provided if preferred by client.
Cost per head: $50 at preferred venues (additional charge if other venue selected)
Cost Includes: 6-8 wines, wine commentary, gourmet cheese and crackers, room hire and set up
Options: There is the option to select higher quality wines for this event, at two price points: $60/head and $70/head. Canapés can also be added for an additional cost.
Option 2 – One Night Stand Wine Courses
This event is a brief introduction to wine course, with an hour and a half tuition across eight wines. This course is designed to unlock the mystery of wine to give participants the confidence to discuss and select wine whenever the need may arise. Participants will also receive a condensed textbook.
The event is designed to entertain and educate staff or clients in a seminar format, with the style tailored to suit the group. The event also includes a selection of quality gourmet cheeses and crackers.
Minimum number: 15 people (if group size is smaller than 15 people, 15 people will be charged)
Format: Seminar style with seating of participants at a table in a U shape formation. This option is more structured than the informal networking event.
Cost per head: $80 at preferred venues (additional charge if other venue selected)
Cost Includes: 8 wines, gourmet cheese and crackers, 1 ½ hours wine tuition, room hire and set up, textbook
Options: There is the option to select higher quality wines for this event at numerous price points. Pricing will be provided on request. Canapés can also be added for an additional cost.
Venues
Wine Tasting Speed Networking can take place in one of our preferred venues or in a venue of your choice. Our preferred venues are premium modern venues, easily accessible from downtown. At our preferred venues, you will benefit from our preferential rates on room hire, which are included in the cost per person. If a different venue is preferred, an additional room hire fee may be applicable.
