The Matching Process
We have developed some extraordinary software that would be a society hostess's dream come true! As part of the registration process we measure two personality dimensions, extraversion and anxiety. A person's score for extraversion tells us to what extent they are outgoing or shy. The anxiety score lets us know if that person is laid back or if they have lots of nervous energy. The system uses this information together with detailed data about our guests' age and age preference in order to place people at a party where their chance of getting at least one match is highest.
We have been conducting a grand experiment never previously attempted. Our goal, to find out what gives a party its "chemistry". We now have a pretty good idea about what combination of personality types and age groupings will get on well, and the results are rather surprising. So what's the secret? Now THAT would be telling...
Venue
We seek out venues that meet our exacting standards. Our events only take place at chic, downtown lounge bars. The speed dating takes place in seperate rooms or private areas within the venue. We provide our guests with detailed information about the venues, maps, instructions on how to get there by car or public transport and the closest car parks, along with their closing times!
Hosts
Our hosts are given extensive training, the hosting manualy is over 150 pages long! The host's job is to faciltate the event with practiced ease, from ensuring that guests are comfortable and understand the process, to moving people along every 8 minutes to collecting matchcards and entering data after the event is over. Our hosts are the best in the business and they are remunerated accordingly. Contact us if you think you have what it takes to become a host.
Catering
At each of our speed dating events you will enjoy an open bar for the duration of the event. Other companies operate a voucher system. We feel that this is rather tacky and keep things a slick as possible. However, although the alcohol is free flowing, we do recommend that it is enjoyed in moderation. While one or two drinks might loosen you up, it is possible to get too loose!
We also serve gourmet hors d'oeuvres throughout the event. Please note that these are bite sized and will not suffice if you haven't eaten all day, If you skipped lunch you may need to eat before the event.
